While watching Tantei Gakuen Q the other day, I thought that the arrow with the lips on Yukihira-san’s shirt was a bit odd since it seems to imply that people should kiss her armpit. Those Japanese and their strange fetishes…
In contrast, the picture from Idol Tenshi Youkoso Yoko of a pair of lips with a line through them seems to imply that one should “Kill JAPAN,” however, the line doesn’t actually go over the lips, so that part is a bit confusing. Subtle imagery in Magical Girl shows is common in Japan, so I won’t rack my brain over the actual meaning of such a poster.
I never realized the versatility of a pair of lips…
