Some of the links are still pointing to the old site, but I’ll work on that later. I’d rather get working on some of the stuff I had saved up over the years; it’s relatively old now, but oh well. I tended to get caught up in minutiae in lieu of putting up anything new. It reminds me of the saying, “The perfect is the enemy of the good.”

I’m going to try turning on comments again, but you have to register. Hopefully, this will keep the spam bots at bay.

To get the ball rolling, I noticed that when characters are being boastful, their noses tend to get long and pointy.

Fuwa Sho with a long, pointy nose from Skip Beat  Nagi with a long, pointy nose from Kannagi  Akagi Shigeru from Akagi

This is an interesting contrast to Pinocchio where the nose tends to only do this when one is lying. I included Akagi since he epitomizes being boastful, but his long, pointy nose is probably just a coincidence in this case.
